Senior iOS Native Developer (m/f)

We are expanding our team due to increased demand.

We are working on mobile applications for client based in pharmaceutical/health market.

Place of work: Zaprešić or remote

Key Responsibilities

Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Objective-C
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with outside data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Proven working experience in iOS app development
Proficient with Swift and Objective-C
Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools (such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs)
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
Familiarity with continuous integration
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with publishing iOS apps in the app store
Experience in working with Agile/Scrum development processes
Good understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
